Write the exact product names
A useful quotation starts with a list that another person can understand without guessing. Write the manufacturer and complete product name for each line. If your list comes from a specification, keep the relevant product references together. “Wall paint”, “primer” or “thinner” may explain the broad task, but those descriptions do not identify a particular coating system.
Browse the KariVex product catalogue and open the product guide before adding an item. Product pages distinguish documented specifications and verified packs from enquiry listings that require product and pack confirmation. If your required product is not shown, enter its name as a manual request and explain the intended application.
Separate packs, quantities and colours
The size of a pack and the number of packs are different details. Record both rather than sending an unexplained total. For example, name the selected pack size and say how many packs you want quoted. For a kit or a two-component product, identify the complete system and the components you need checked.
Provide a manufacturer shade code or reference where available. Colour names alone can be ambiguous, and a screen preview is not an exact paint match. For a thinner, clear material or other product without a chosen decorative colour, state “not applicable” where appropriate. Do not leave the field open to an unintended assumption.
Explain the surface when you need help selecting
If you are not yet working from a product specification, describe the material and the condition of the surface. Say whether the project is interior or exterior, new or previously coated. Identify the existing finish where known, together with any relevant moisture, exposure or wear conditions. The message is the place to explain what you need the system to do.
Include the approximate area if quantity planning is part of the request. A documented coverage range can help estimate material, but it does not remove the need to consider preparation, texture and the coating sequence. Avoid substituting a decorative-wall estimate for a specialist floor, waterproofing or fire-protection specification.
Include the companion materials
A project may need more than the visible finishing coat. Check the manufacturer’s sheet for the primer, undercoat, filler, thinner or curing component required by the selected system. Keep those names alongside the finishing product so the proposed combination can be reviewed together.
A thinner and a hardener perform different roles. For a two-pack coating, identify the exact matched components instead of assuming that another solvent or curing product can be substituted. If you are uncertain about the system, ask a question in the message rather than inventing a mixing ratio or component list.
Add the destination and useful contact details
Give the delivery country and town, and mention any important timing or access question. Sourcing, availability, transport feasibility and charges depend on the actual request and are confirmed during the quotation process. A catalogue listing is not a reservation of stock or a confirmed dispatch date.
Review the list, add your contact details and send the quotation enquiry. If the requirements change afterward, contact the KariVex team with your name and the details of the original request. For the complete sequence, read how to request Crown products.
