The product, in perspective.

Fastflex is a two-component cementitious waterproofing coating modified with polymer. Request the complete kit and describe the wet-area substrate; component weights must be checked as one system.

A two-component flexible cementitious waterproofing system for specified wet areas. Required coverage is connected to membrane thickness. Joints, penetrations and repaired areas need to be treated as part of the complete system.

Where it works.

The documented surface or use for Dr. Fixit Fastflex is specified wet-area substrates. Identify the actual material and its condition before selecting the preparation and finishing system. An existing coating, a newly prepared base and a repaired area can need different treatment.

  • A two-component flexible cementitious waterproofing system for specified wet areas.
  • Available quotation packs and component requirements are checked for your selected product, rather than inferred from another grade.

Before you start.

Remove loose material and contamination, repair defects and prepare corners or junctions as specified. The sheet requires a damp, saturated-surface-dry base without standing water.

For a useful specification check, share whether the surface is bare or previously treated, the name of the existing coating if known, and any visible damage or moisture exposure. Preparation products should be selected for that condition before the finishing material is applied.

Application and project planning.

Use the matched powder and liquid components and follow the mechanical mixing and application sequence in the Fastflex instructions.

Required coverage is connected to membrane thickness. Joints, penetrations and repaired areas need to be treated as part of the complete system.

Quantity planning starts with the installation: surface area or joint dimensions, the specified system build, and the number of application stages. Include corners, junctions, penetrations or other details relevant to the job. The sales team can check the material list against the project requirements; application must follow the manufacturer’s current instructions.

Good questions, useful answers.

Should the surface be soaking wet?

The specified preparation is saturated-surface-dry: damp but with no standing water. Follow that condition before the waterproofing application.

What should I include in my quotation?

Give the exact product name, requested pack size, quantity and relevant colour reference. Add the surface, application and destination so the product and delivery requirements can be checked together.

How do I choose the right pack and quantity?

Use the available pack choices and the quantity required by your coating or installation plan. Tell us the area, number of coats or relevant joint dimensions if you need help assembling a material list.

Can I confirm a colour from the product picture?

The image represents product packaging, not an exact shade match. Use a manufacturer colour reference for a coloured product, or specify that colour is not applicable for the material you need.

Keep the specification close.

Use the full manufacturer technical information when planning preparation and application. Include the exact product and system details when contacting KariVex about a quotation.
