The product, in perspective.

Aqua Glow is Crown's water-based acrylic enamel for interior and exterior coating work. It offers a glossy topcoat; surface preparation and the required primer depend on the material being painted.

A glossy water-based enamel for appropriately prepared surfaces. A water-based product still needs a suitable base and a compatibility check. Changing the binder type does not remove the need for preparation.

Where it works.

The documented surface or use for Crown Aqua Glow is prepared masonry, concrete, metal and wood. Identify the actual material and its condition before selecting the preparation and finishing system. An existing coating, a newly prepared base and a repaired area can need different treatment.

  • A glossy water-based enamel for appropriately prepared surfaces.
  • Available quotation packs and component requirements are checked for your selected product, rather than inferred from another grade.

Before you start.

Clean away dirt, grease and loose coatings. New concrete or plaster must be adequately cured; glossy existing coatings need the documented preparation and adhesion check.

For a useful specification check, share whether the surface is bare or previously treated, the name of the existing coating if known, and any visible damage or moisture exposure. Preparation products should be selected for that condition before the finishing material is applied.

Application and project planning.

Follow the Aqua Glow preparation and coating sequence for masonry, metal or timber. Use the prescribed primer and application conditions for that substrate.

A water-based product still needs a suitable base and a compatibility check. Changing the binder type does not remove the need for preparation.

Measure the area to be treated and allow for the number of coats required by the coating system. Surface texture, absorption, application method and material losses can change the amount needed. Tell us the area and proposed system when requesting packs; the published coverage is a planning reference, not a guarantee of your project’s consumption.

Good questions, useful answers.

How does it differ from Super Gloss?

Aqua Glow is a water-based acrylic enamel; Super Gloss is an alkyd enamel. Compare the whole coating system, finish and substrate requirements before choosing.

What should I include in my quotation?

Give the exact product name, requested pack size, quantity and relevant colour reference. Add the surface, application and destination so the product and delivery requirements can be checked together.

How do I choose the right pack and quantity?

Use the available pack choices and the quantity required by your coating or installation plan. Tell us the area, number of coats or relevant joint dimensions if you need help assembling a material list.

Can I confirm a colour from the product picture?

The image represents product packaging, not an exact shade match. Use a manufacturer colour reference for a coloured product, or specify that colour is not applicable for the material you need.

Keep the specification close.

Use the full manufacturer technical information when planning preparation and application. Include the exact product and system details when contacting KariVex about a quotation.
